i think the spinvis album was the best of 2002... most of you haven't heard of it, because its dutch, but i like it very much. other than that the strokes were good (is that 2002) and of course the trail of dead.. also liked flip kowlier and the queens of the stone age... and the coral of course..
Yup, only two songs. Did I mention I mostly focus on radio-promos and singles in my list? And I didn't like Smalfilm at all to be honest, the only other Spinvis-song that was used as a radio-promo...
The Strokes were 2001 and technically Flip Kowlier as well, though the Dutch release wasn't until Februari 2002 I believe.

Oh, and good to see you around here, Algurgazan! Long time no see.

1) Favourite songs from 2002?

Tough one this, so many good songs from all of the genres but I guess Red Hot Chilli peppers "The Zephyr song" gets it... cosmic man (Tenacious D's "Greatest song in the world" came REALLY close)

2) Favourite albums from 2002?

Edit- Tenacious D... definately the best album of the year.

3) Favourite music videos from 2002?

Witout me-Eminem

4) Worst songs from 2002?

Crossroads-Blazing squad

5) Worst albums from 2002?

Whatever the blazing squad one is called.

6) Worst music videos from 2002?

Blazing squad.

7) Biggest personal discovery in 2002? This last one doesn't necessarily have to be about a CD from 2002, mind you.

The first Nickleback album "Curb" , way better then the mediocre "Silver side up"

1) Favourite songs from 2002?There was one. Forget the name and artist but remember it well, all except the lyrics, title and artist. ("I'm gonna catch you if I can") is the lyric I remember....I think..... I'll repost. It was a house/garage tune in England.

2) Favourite albums from 2002? Dunno, was Naz(?sp) 2002? A rapper...very talented, I listen to him on the radio at work. The songs are from his album but dunno if it was last year or this.?

3) Favourite music videos from 2002? (Eminem rings a bell. Not too hot on music/videos.)

4) Worst songs from 2002? Any manafactured, non talented, non music reading, non music playing....well, any one of a thousand pieces of manafactured tripe that you care to mention.

5) Worst albums from 2002? See above.

6) Worst music videos from 2002? I didn't expect that....see above.

7) Biggest personal discovery in 2002? This last one doesn't necessarily have to be about a CD from 2002, mind you. This is an absolutely first class question. I need to think long and hard on it, sincerely. It's a great question. I'll come back, tis certainly food for thought.

That's a song by Kosheen called Catch. Technically I think it's a song from 2000, but who cares about technicalities... It's a decent song though, I'll give you that.

A tune from 2000 that I liked, except that I don't remember the lyrics, title and artist (there's a bullet in the gun, there's a fire in your heart. You can move the mountains that stand in your path....till the end of all time...I'll be by your side) Can you help me here Grojlach? Another housey tune. Going on my past performance it could well be a song from 98.

P.S. Cheers, you were spot on. That was the record.

Biggest personal achievement last year. There wasn't one. I aim to do better this year.

1) Favourite songs from 2002?

I'll have to use some from 2001 here and cheat a bit as there were not many songs from 2002 I liked.
Tribe to a Nation-Sepultra, Cochise-Audioslave, This is Not-Static-X, Tree of Pain-Soulfly, Play God-Spineshank, Deliverance-Opeth Step it Up-Rhombus

2) Favourite albums from 2002?

3-Soulfly, Deliverance-Opeth

3) Favourite music videos from 2002?

Prayer-Disturbed (or was that early 2003), Cochise-Audioslave

4) Worst songs from 2002?

The Tide is High -Atomic Kitten, Air Force Ones- Nelly

5) Worst albums from 2002?

Dunno I liked all the ones that I bought.

6) Worst music videos from 2002?

Cant think of any particular ones off the top of my head but there were many of them.

7) Biggest personal discovery in 2002? This last one doesn't necessarily have to be about a CD from 2002, mind you.

The album Amen-Amen, going to see them in concert.....and then finding out they were in danger of losing their record contract
