L of A, you scamp you. AND I LOOKED ANYWAYS. So the Skulls are $$, huh? Hmmmm

thanks Sacz. I have already asked a question or two. Just passing time til it gets answered. Think I might have to download a patch. Something seems not quite right. And I am going to really have to get used to using keys again. So used to BGII 3rd person stuff. I'm getting the hang of it, though.

Happy Gaming!

BK: Check with the Mayor (Town Hall) in Valeia. He has a "bounty" quest on those skulls. The more you bring in (5 at a time), you keep getting XP and cash (just 50, but every little bit helps).

Check some of the other threads to find both legit (and not so legit) ways of making more needed $$ to get started! Or, ask and I'll post some.

Ummm, ok, stupid question #3 and #4

3) Umm, which town did I start in.

4) How do I get from town to town, other than wonder through the darkness. Is there a marked map somewhere. All I got in the box was disks, useless guide (threw it out) and a couple to win something if I checked a web site about . . . oh . . . six months ago.

The starting town is named Valeia. On the overland map that came with the game, it's in the southeast.

The only way you can get from town to town (right now) is to wander. When you get Moon magic spells, you'll get some teleport spells that will make it a lot easier for you. Basically, though, you can't really leave the Valeia area too far without completing the Crypt (the first main dungeon).

Hi all!! I just read thru all of this and I have to say my curiousity is peaked. I might have to buy this game myself and try it out. Sounds like fun.

Oh, do, Draconia! I think you'll really like it. It takes a little bit to learn, but that's what we're here for, and when you get into it...well, it's really quite addictive. (In a good way). Just FYI: I'm on my 5th playthrough! It's got a great replay value.

I have just decided that this will be the next game to buy. My birthday is coming up so now I know what to ask for. I just hope that I can find it.
