What time is dinner Moni? Sounds delicious. I'll be right over. Very good menu, let us know how it turns out.

Lady Avalon,
Six o'clock CST. Think you can make it? You would be more than welcome! Jerome, What kind of chicken though? Stuffed and roasted is my fav...my sister has possession of a photo she took when I was pregnant with my son of a former stuffed and roasted (whole) chicken that I ate for lunch one day~reduced to nothing more than a clean chicken skeleton on a platter. That is on my menu for next week but, alas, this time I'll have to share. Moni ------------------ [This message has been edited by Moni (edited 07-15-2001).] |

Oh! How in the world did I miss that?! LOL Chicken on the brain. Too funny! Not sure that I have a pot big enough to roast a kid in and all the ones here (locally) are dirty. I think I'll pass. Lady Avalon, Sorry you can't make it! I am sure Rex will clean a plate for you. LOL Moni ------------------ |

Not a subject you want to get me started on, or I'd fill the boards here up with recipes...

Dammit K! you are always ahead of me...
But anything roasted, baked or braised. Bread of course. If you have a big claypot with lid you can make some awesome chicken with vegs. Perhaps with potatoes/rice on the side. Or baked potatoes with stuffing (veg. or meat) with a salad?? the list is endless! |

Oooo!
Keep making me hungry Qrt! All I had for dinner toight was a (big) chunk of cornbread, a few bites of potatoes and a tall glass of milk. Not to worry though, I usually eat a healthy breakfast and a worthy lunch and I am making up tonight's loss (by cooking pork) with a big a$$ pot roast with potatoes & carrots tomorrow, complete with sauteed onions, green bell peppers and mushrooms on the side. Buttered bread, shredded cheddar and sour cream optional (and the heavens know I don't pass up the options either ). Moni ------------------ |
