Well, I should know, should I not?
![]() I used to use the jpeg-format and pcx-format during the last years, and then more or less changed to png (although it may result in slightly bigger files compared to jpeg). Is that a problem? I can certainly add a png-version. BTW, I could also add the small pics (in opposite to most walls, unfortunately for all the hi-res-users out there) in higher resolution.

This is just my personal thought on the matter, but I think that hi-res is better, b/c you can fairly easily go down in resolution but it's not as easy to go up and still maintain picture quality.
But then, I am an advocate of 1024x768 resolution ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thanks, Dinonykos. I hope to do some male elves soon. I think there may be a lot of elves in The City.

Hey Dinonykos, do you mind if I alter your human male small pic a bit to use in my Prohovost design?

Excellent.
![]() I am nowhere near a beta release of the design, but I am considering an alpha release that will be on the secret site. ![]() I worked out some bugs yesterday. I also realize that I've lost a text document that contained future plans for Prohovost. ![]() |

Well, busy as I am, nothing new
![]() However, I have decided to let out a "little secret" page that has a few additional portraits (4 or so?) that was originally being kept for a collaboration project, but nothing seems to be going for that anymore, so... Hint: the page can be found from my Dungeon Craft page if you click a particular part of the top picture... (I will eventually move the images with new names to the portraits page, but for now, I don't even have time to do that!)

Excellent! Especially the faces and the foldings of some of the clothes are very convincing. The 2nd guy (respectively the 1st guy, 2nd portrait) looks a little bit like a yellow Magneto (due to the helmet, probably). The torsos of the first and second character seem a little out of proportion in my oppinion, though.
BTW, I was not able to click on the right spot in the picture, even though I could deduce form the source code were it should be. Does it really work in your browser? Maybe it is because some browsers prefer "map name" to "map id"?

Ha ha - Yellow Magneto (I do have a normal greyish metal version of this picture somewhere I think... but the silly Tormites like gold armor, so...
![]() As for proportion - ha ha, I tend to mess up proportions when drawing with pixels, although Manikus helped me out a bit in fixing some of this (the elf was quite mixproportioned at first, for example... the moustached man also had no moustache)... I will look into the HTML thing - did I use the wrong tab? Ho ho ho...
