ooc>>dont elf's have resistance to sleep and charm spells?

My NWN manual says that they are immune to sleep and have a hardiness against enchantments, among other things. No mention of not being able to be charmed. I just read a Forgotten Realms, (owned by WotC) book by one of the top three authors, Troy Denning and in it, the elves were also able to be charmed to work for their evil masters.

Elves have a hefty resistance, 90%, to sleep and charm related magics, as per 2nd ed rules, but 90% still means that it will fail 10% of the time.

{edit} that and we're using a ruleset that's a composite of several versions of the game and accessories, making it that much harder.

ok no probs. Btw did I get hit with roderiks song? or do I have to roll? I think for roleplaying sake I should fail my role (do I actually role of decide myself what happens) before Andirion gets mashed.

When Roderik cast the spell, Morg suggested that both Silt and the Lamia roll vs. the spell since we are both in the perimeter of effect. Since he called the shot, I figured you would be okay rolling it yourself, as I trust you on this roll to make an honest move. Either way, it does not affect the overall game structure, so you can save or you can fail. Which ever will be more fun for you to RP. I am allowing you this time to judge for yourself. You'll see me do that sometimes, and sometimes I will request being in more control.

ok guys, Im gona be away as of tomorow (15 hours till I leave) until next Friday night (although it will be Saturday before I get a chance to post probably, as I am going away to Strasbourg. So I may be able to squeeze one more post in before I go, if morgeruat and dplax are on tonight, and after that my character will be under the control of my team, so Dplax and Morgeruat, you guys can control me whenever you want. My character will be going into the cavern with you, and after that, who knows what Larry has in store.

I have been looking forward to this holiday for a while, but sorry for the inconvenience.
