ooc-im not crippled cal, i can take care of my own characters. check ur pm

Alliene moved and lay half in and half out of the willows drooping branches. They sky was still a brilliant blue, not a cloud in sight. A large bird was flapping over the estates. A raven, by its size. There was a loud screech, and a hawk plummeted from above, striking the raven in the back. The black bird shrilled in anger and pain as it struggled desperatley to escape, pecking wildly where ever its beak reached. In a fury of black and brown feathers, the fighting birds dropped into a thick apple tree. Alliene sighed and rolled onto her back, stretching luxuriously, before she led her drow over to the tree with her. The hawk had given up and escaped, but the rven was not so lucky. It had fallen from the tree in a rummpled mess of glossy black feathers, legs sticking at an awkward angle. Kneeling down, the half-drow noticed a letter attached to its leg. Frowning, she untied it and spread it smooth on the grass

The half-elf is with child. If that whelp is born, my plan has no chance of suceeding. Make sure her 'Majesty' loses it. I have plans for her yet.

Alliene's eyes widened as she read. This could be none other than her dear sister. There was no signature, and the script was rough and crude. Frowning, she folded the letter and left to find Verloren, drow in tow.

Shielding his eyes from the sun's radiant gaze, the young drow elf questioned, "Ele zhah ussta kaas d'ji mzilt guthlimia ulu dos?"

Translations: Ele zhah ussta kaas d'ji mzilt guthlimia ulu dos? (Why is my name of so much importance to you)

Calaethis awoke some time later. He stepped out of bed, and dressed himself; then he looked around for Tagnik. He found the sword, along with his other things. He smiled, although, Verloren did not mention returning his equipement. The sword asked him if he was feeling better, Calaethis nodded. Changing into his draconic form, he winced, it hurt to do it more then once a day, but he'd rested, so it had not drained his health. Sighing, he formed a Dimension Door, and stepped though it; he'd promised Verloren not to leave the esate, he hadn't said he wouldn't go outside...

Still within the grounds, Calaethis stepped onto soft grass. He could be seen from the windows, so, if as he suspected, Verloren had told the guards to keep an eye on him, he would be in sight. He changed back into his elven form, and pulled off his tunic, and barechested, he began to dance... Tagnik in his hand, he was as one with the sword. What he really wanted was an opponant to face, but remembering the scretch in the floor, he decided it was best not to... he danced without a sound, the sword a blur, he began to include leaps in it... sunlight reflected of the hilt of Tagnik, Sssiks vress'lve's ruby eyes sparkling like droplets of blood.

Sylquis... sulked. Irrated at Khalraan, she'd sulked for the better part of an hour, and tried talking to her Diety, who'd ignored her, making her sulk even more... eventually, she caught the flash of sunlight on metal, she wondered what it was, it came again and again and again... she went to check it out...

Calaethis's blade stopped an inch before Sylquis's head, he'd spun around with a downward's blow, and stopped the blade before it cut her. Sylquis froze, terrified. Calaethis sheathed the blade and looked at the child sternly. She'd interupted his practising, and almost gotten herself killed. He suggested if she wanted to watch, she took a seat. She did, and spoke to him as he resumed his practise, he spoke back without breaking his conentration, his moves beforing more furied as she went on. Eventually he snapped, "Enough!" Sylquis drew back fearfully. Calaethis in a tone of ice snapped "I forbid you to speak to him, understood?!" the girl nodded, and asked to be excused. Giving her a long stare, Calaethis let her go, and she ran off crying. He resummed his practise. Khalraan had gone too far. Had he anything to do with it, Sylquis would not see him, or be left alone with him at any given time. Calaethis continued practising his movements sharp and angry, it took him the better part of three hours to calm down...

Question Mark

Malar was resting. Aeris sat in a chair bored. He sighed, and decided to go for a walk... stepping outside he started on a walk and even ran a little. Through his walk he noticed Calaethis training. He decided not to disturb him. As he ran on he noticed the sound of strangled sobs in a distance. He fastened his gait to see who was crying. He neared a beech tree and the sobs grew stronger. As he approached the tree he saw a girl, It was Sylquis. Her head was burried deep into her arms. He stepped beside her and knelt down. What is wrong child? Please do not cry. Dry those eyes and tell me what is a matter. The same caring tone of Malar's voice carried off from Aeris's.

Sylquis threw her arms around Aeris's neck and cried into his embrace. Between sobs she explained how cold and nasty Calaethis had been, but didn't include why he had been (dirty little pervert - being the "why" aka, Khalraan)She continued to sob in his hold, and asked why 'Lord' Calaethis was being so nasty lately.

Aeris returned the embrace. I am sorry Sylquis, but I do not know why. I am sorry I cannot help every much. He looked at her and she burried her head into his chest, still sobbing. Please child. Dry your eyes. Everything will be okay. I am sure Calaethis is just frustrated with something. He sat there holding her in his arms. A silent tear ran down his own cheek. He hated to see others cry from some unknown pain.

Sylquis dried her eyes and put her head on Aeris's shoulder, without looking into his eyes, she begged "If your going back to the manor, carry me, please?" she clung to him already, and whispered "I don't want the others to see me, Lord Aeris"

"If that is what you want." Aeris picked her up and covered her with his cloak. They arrived at the manor soon and Aeris carried her up the stairs into Calaethis's room. He lay her on the bed and smiled at her. Would you like me to stay here? Once again the caring and comferting tone in his voice could be heard. Tyra had dozed off while reading and had her head tilted back asleep.

Sylquis nodded, and held onto Aeris's hand for a while, after about fifteen minuets, she dosed off, and fell asleep.

Aeris stayed there with her and thought of his child hood. It brought up painful memories. He shook them out of his head and looked at Sylquis who still grasped his hand. He let go slowly and layed a blanket over her. He left for his room and as he reached the door way he turned around. He sat in another chair in the room and looked at the two girls. He stayed there.
