You can't handle a man of my superior strength
I've been rockin for years, now it's time to go to length
Bitin emcees in their tracks I stop em
My rhyme style? Makin turn dropper?
My concepts come sick like Dennis Hopper

Ok, this one from a reasonably obscure band, so if people don't get it I'll understand. If no one gets it after a few days I'll put a different one up. Here's a hint though, the lead singer was a member of Queens of the Stone Age.

Anyway, here it is:

I need a drink, to burn my throat
I need a girl, to hang my coat
Wash my clothes
And bring me food
I need a girl, with no attitude

Wake me up
And get me high
Wake me up and get me high

Don't gimme no lip, when I'm at the bar
Don't gimme no shit, when I wreck your car
You wanna know who's on the phone
No one for you bitch! Just leave it alone yeah!

Wake me up
And get me high
Wake me up and get me high...

Oh dear, looks like this one's a no-goer. Ok, well, it was 'Cocaine Rodeo' by Mondo Generator. The lead singer is none other than Nick Oliveri, former bassist of Queens of the Stoneage.

Ok, next quote:

You're breathing so I guess you're still alive
even if signs seem to tell me otherwise.
Won't you come just a bit closer,
close enough so I can smell you.
I need you to feel this.
I need this to make me whole.
There's release in this sodomy.
For I am your witness that
blood and flesh can be trusted.
And only this one holy medium brings me piece of mind.
Got your hands bound, your head down,
your eyes closed.
You look so precious now.
I have found some kind of temporary sanity in this
shit blood and cum on my hands.
I've come round full circle.
My lamb and martyr, this will be over soon.
You look so precious.

Oh, come on! It's one of the greatest songs by one of the greatest 'heavy rock' (although I shudder to apply such a generic term to these musical genius') bands of all time!

Give you a hint: All of their videos (except one, made very very early on in their career) depict surreal, dark, geigeresque visual artwork. Quite often portrayed via claymation. All of the special effects in their videos are designed by their guitarist.

They are quite a well known band, and this is one of their better-known songs.

Alrighty! Since we're both so fond of it, why don't we stick to heavy rock a bit longer?

Going to war, give'em hell
D-Day, next stop Normandie
Beginning of the end
We know how to and sure as shit we'll win.
War is peace, sure man
A retreat for the damned
A playground for the demented
A heaven for those who walk this world.
Bereft of heart and soul
love and war they say all is fair.
Take his life
but won't take his hair.
Your body has parts your
country can spare.
By the way son here's
your wheelchair.
