What is dual core? I've been a bit out of touch.

I already bought it and went with am2 x2 3800.
went with 1GB of ram. It will be the first thing to be upgraded.
Still waiting for some pieces that were out of stock.

2 CPU cores working in unison to take over the world. Good for multitasking and stuff. Also good for heating your house on cold nights.

Considering a single core CPU has to do everything, yes. That's why dual core makes it easier. But with games these days, while graphics get better and better, people don't seem to realise that sound effects also tkae up mich more rescources as the sounds get better in quality.
