But a person who knows nothing about BG2, could easily see Illumina was being sarcastic. Even if someone thought Illumina was talking seriously, basic BG2 knowledge was enough to know merchants aren't powerful mages and dont carry special items to recharge.

So when you see a person, whom you have seen before making numerous posts about BG2 and who has read Illumina's posts before, actually claim that he tried and killed some merchants to check whether they are mages and carry such items and then in a very noobish way state that he "thinks" wand recharging is a limitation of the game engine but asks someone to verify for sure, don't you stop and think for a second that something is wrong here?
