Sweet Ivellis, that is awesome! Unless they accidentally rang the wrong person:

"Ivellis? sorry, we meant to ring Evellis. You failed everything, dumbass."

but i doubt that happened, so good on ya!

*grins* Well I was waiting at the bus stop with a few mates to go to the match, and one of my mates said he had got rang. I didn't know about it, so I was winding him up saying "oh, imagine you go down and they just laugh at you...point and laugh." Then when I get in I found out *I* got rang too...he's been winding me up about it now! The swine!

Ok, I've came in and got them.

But firstly let me say I am a fool.

The photographer from the local paper was there, so we opened our result (about 10 of us) and he took pictures of our reactions.
So then he goes "Show a bit of excitement" so, not thinking, I started leaping about cheering and being just idiotic.
Then he gets a picture of me, in mid cheer, and he sends it off to the newspaper office from school.

Expect me to be embarressed when the paper is out tonight *grin*

Just for fun and tickles I'll post what I got:
English Language A*
English Lit A
Science B B (double award)
RE A (Me = pope)
ICT A A (double award)
History A
Maths A
Media Studies B
GNVQ Business Distinction (same as 4 A*s)

Oh man am I chuffed *grin*

Hi guys.

I am not pleased with my GCSE exam results.
I passed everything, and got good enough grades to be able to get into the 6th form next year. I got two As and a D (which was Latin. being a language, it does not suprise me at all, but it is still a pass). I pulled up my ICT and french to Cs, which is a vast improvement.
However...
Our school will not let you do a science with less than a B (which I got in biology, so I can do taht next year. I have a tame biologist at home, so I shall be all right in theory). But I wanted to do a physics course next year, but I got a C, so I can not. However, there was no garantee taht I would have got the astrophysics in 6th form anyway, and since I was not going to do maths, unis may not have let me do it. So I now have to rethink my options. I suppose that I could try and fall back on my option of perusing palentology, but you may need chemistry for that, which I also got a C in... *sigh* So I have to now find a new subject that I would want to take. But in the two blocks, there is nothing taht particularly appeals to me. I had reshuffled everything to fit in physics, and now...
I have to seriously rethink the way that I want my life to go.
Deos anyone know what you need to be able to go into paeleantology?
I dont know my exact results, I cant rememebr them. And I doubt you would want to know them anyway.
Cheers
DS

I didn't give them much of a choice

That sucks that cause you didn't get a B you can't do what you want. Is your 6th form linked in with the school (or whatever) where you did your GCSEs?

That's pretty high, no where around here needs anything about a C in, I think English/Maths and maybe Science to get in.

Dead ? At least there's still people posting here, most other boards i visit, or visited in the past, are just as exciting as watching grass grow. On any given night there's still around 100 people present here, so dead is not the right word.

Meh...if you mean the slowchatting has stopped, than you're right, but apparently that sort of stuff isn't appreciated anyway, so in fact it's improved.
