I should have gone with my dad, but unfortunately I couldn't go becuase I was ill and had a high fever for six days. (39-40 degrees)
So I was chained to teas, pills and rest. I was home, sitting in my "football chair" and enjoyed the game.
Bugger! bad luck Xen. So did youre dad take youre little brother instead or was youre brother going already?

I guess you're feeling a bit stupid now, huh Johnny? If there's been a more exciting game this year, I haven't seen it.

So, Chelsea and Liverpool (hurray!!!!) in the next round.

Bah! Chelsea and Liverpool went through. Arsenal and ManU went out. Almost like my vibration says.

Did Juventus went through?

Nah, not feeling stupid, i've been wrong more than once when it comes to predictions in football. Besides, there's no logic in football either, the clearly better team got knocked out of the CL, because of a few personal mistakes in the first 20 minutes of the game. I stick to my earlier statement, Chelsea didn't deserve this win, their tactics come awfully close to Italian teams, and i can't think of anything more boring to watch than that. I hope that whoever meets them next kicks their asses thoroughly.

Imagine a finals between AC Milan and Chelsea.... the horror...two teams who have absolutely no intention of crossing midfield out of their own initiative. I love watching football, but if it's a match between two teams with an approach like that, i'd rather watch the grass grow.

Youre a bit harsh there Johnny, though I did not watch all the match it was entertaining enough. Barcelona's goal was pure fun, everyone watching his feet and footwork but not watching the ball

Imagine a Juventus vs AC Milan final. That would be really a bore match. Much like the match a few years back at Old Trafford. What a waste of time to watch it. >_>

Sure this game was entertaining, but it was Barcelona that looked after the entertainment, Chelsea sat back in the trenches and waited for what was coming their way. If that's the only way a team can play, i can have peace with it, but look at Chelsea's potential, what they SHOULD be capable of doing to an opponent, and compare that with their attitude over these two games against barcelona, the neutral footballfans can only be dissapointed with such a performance.

Harsh ? I don't think so. I would tell you how i truly feel about Chelsea and, most of all, their arrogant bastard coach, but that would most likely get me banned from these forums.
