Well I havn't bought a cd for about a year now... excessive use of p2p programs... plus bad budget.
But I have lots of them... most around the same gernes as Groj... but probably 30 % of what he has in quantity... [img]smile.gif[/img]
(I didn't know Pavement had made so many albums... great band)

My first cd was Return of the Killer b's by Anthrax and some Rap Cd I forgot the name of... I was 17 [img]smile.gif[/img]

Most of those are EP's, though... I do have all of the regular Pavement albums, plus a collection of early material, a rare Japanese import with 8 Japan-only tracks, a DVD with two live-concerts, a documentary and all of their videos and a deluxe-version of their debut (with about 35 (!) extra songs, and not exactly throw-aways either ). Oh, and I suppose I could mention the albums by Preston School of Industry, Stephen Malkmus (and the Jicks) and The Silver Jews as well, as they're all Pavement-related.

Anyways, in the category "Oops, I did it again", here the most recent additions to my collection:

code:
Einstürzende Neubauten - Perpetuum Mobile
Lamb - What Sound
Patty Waters - Sings
Sonic Youth - Bad Moon Rising
Squirrel Nut Zippers - Hot
The Unicorns - Who will cut our hair when we're gone?
Tom Waits - Blood Money
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Fever to tell
[/QUOTE]Oh, and I bought the "This is Spinal Tap" DVD as well. Brilliant movie.

Oi - are you calling me unsophisticated??
I don't believe I did. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

And I agree about the "nevermind" part.

Impressive collection, Groj, even got almost all the Motorpsycho albums (and thus, most of the good norwegian music [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) [img]smile.gif[/img] ...

I suppose I have 100-150 CDs. Fave bands being Deftones and Tool. First CDs I remember buying: some Radiohead album, Eels - Beautiful Freak and Motorpsycho - Trust Us.
Latest buys: The first Perfect Circle album, both the Tomahawk albums, Emperor - IX Equilibibrim, The Cumshots - Norwegian Jesus and Pixies - Doolittle.

Gosh, people all have such impeccable and intellectual tastes here! Well done!
Oh, and just as I'm writing the classic Vortex Surfer popped up on my Winamp list.

Come on Groj... you know you want to. [img]tongue.gif[/img] Don't be envious now, there's plenty Norwegian forest trolls for everyone. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

No, not really. I have like 120 CDs. Most are eighties, motown, and obscure drum n bass.

ROFL - that jogged a long-forgotten memory of a really dodgy Rammstein-lyric-filled thread on Pandemonium. [img]graemlins/biglaugh.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/whip.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/idontagreeatall.gif[/img]

LOL LOL, I remember now:

Ein Zweibeiner auf allen vieren
Ich führe ihn spazieren
Im Passgang, dem Flur entlang
Ich bin enttäuscht.

Bück dich, befehl ich dir
Wende dein Antlitz ab von mir
Dein Gesicht ist mir egal
Bück dich, noch einmal.
