My favourite character is Chaotic good half-orc conjurer.

dwarf cleric thats law-ful good..
dwarf is my favorite race, the dnd group needed a cleric at the time, and law-ful good goes with a cleric.

Maybe someone thinks that you should ahve an evil paladin. I mean, it could happen. A paladin of Xvim.... maybe.
Kind of cool, really... hmm....
I mean, who says that rangers have to be good. In IWD II, you can have evil rangers.

[/QUOTE]That would require some serious house-ruling, but I'm not totally against it. I had this idea of making paladins a kind of "order-knights" who had given their life to an order, viciously upholding it's laws and ideas getting mystical powers and special training in return.

What powers you would get would depend on the specific order. Some orders are holy bastions of goodness, other are demonic cabals and some follow agendas far beyond the scope of mere mortals.

I would only play a paladin if they were an evil/neutral one (worshiping and following the rules of an evil or neutral god) and pref'bly an elf, i don't get on well with any other races.
I think that Black isle ought to consider this an option.

Why do you think that Weimer invented the Anti-Paladin kit, and created it... because their was need for an evil paladin..
