Music, voices, conversations with people I know... noisy damn place, it is.
I too am one of the musically impaired, (I can play the radio...) so it is truly frustrating when something original comes into my head, and I have no way of getting it out. Tried singing once, took me hours to get the cats out from under the bed
So now I just mostly sit back and enjoy the show, whatever the subconscious wants to play.

Can you tie 'em in a bow?" etcetera. It kept repeating and repeating and repeating. Ack!!
If I've got to have a soundtrack in my head, why can't I change the music more easily??? Hmmm, maybe I should start humming the Grinch song instead (at least that's more fun).

That's funny. Scary too! I'm not sure that I ever hear nonsense music in my head, bar the Grinch song that day LOL. If I were you, I'd tune in to some classical for a while.

You can play the radio! That's funny but I know its not when you have original music in your head and no way of releasing it to the rest of the world (without scaring the cats under the bed LOL) No, I can sing but only spontaneously if you can understand that...I am shy of being the center of attention so I only sing when I am playing around. Rex says I sound like Reba McIntyre...not my favorite singer LOL but she does have talent and style.
I doubt if singing would help me though since most of the "original" music that plays in my head is symphonic or tribal...hmmm, maybe I ought to start playing around with the Keytar in my SoundBlaster program?

Sometimes I find that moments in your life like major turning points or emotional events, or great excitement cause me to be just..drowned out and engulfed by music.. Its my subconcious saying that these events are too important to be without accompanying music! Like a silent scene doesnt have as much impact as a scene with a full symphony behind it..and so thats how my life is..always melodramatic
That's excellent!

firstly, no, i do not find that the least bit frightening. the only side-effect ive felt so far is enhanced paranoia and disdain for other members of society.
secondly, kinda. i believe the term is 'demi-god' because he was never an angel, but he tried to become a god. im not sure if it would be called a One Winged Angel, a Heartless Angel, or a demi-god, or whatever, but not a fallen angel.
and it is kinda spooky... today i was convinced for about 10 minutes that somebody was behind me and that he was going to harm me...

It's simple. Once the Planet is hurt, it gathers Spirit Energy to heal the injury. The amount of energy gathered depends on the size of the injury...What would happen if there was an injury that threatened the very life of the Planet? Think how much energy would be gathered! Ha, ha, ha. And at the center of that injury, wil be me. All that boundless energy will be mine. By merging with the energy of the Planet, I will be come a new life form, a new existence. Melding with the Planet, I will cease to exist as I am now. Only to be reborn as a 'God' to rule over every living soul.

The song inside my head for the last week is 'Something inside so strong' by Labi Siffre. It's on a TV ad at the moment .

The higher you build your barriers
The taller I become
The further you take my rights away
The faster I will run
You can deny me
You can decide to turn your face away
No matter 'cause there's

Something inside so strong
I know that I can make it
Though you're doing me wrong, so wrong
You thought that my pride was gone... oh no
There's something inside so strong
Something inside so strong

The worst is when I can't get the song 'It's a small world' out of my head.

Soundtrack? Oh yeah, all the time! Constant music. I am always either singing, humming or whistling. Every single minute of the day (it drives everyone nuts). Sometimes I get tunes in my head for no apparent reason, sometimes it is something I have heard. Sometimes only there for a few minutes, others I can't shift for weeks (usually the annoying ones, like "I'm In The Mood for Dancing" by the Nolan Sisters - oh no, what have I done!!!)

Sometimes it's not a song or music I've heard, but something I make up on the spur of the moment.

This morning it was the guitar riff at the beginning of 'Plug In Baby' by Muse. Now it is Labi Siffre and the Nolans. Later it may be Eric Satie or Beethoven's ninth. Who knows.

And sometimes I can actually hear music that seems to be coming from somewhere else, not in my head, and not from a radio. I hear music in everything - the bus changing gear has a tune in it somewhere. Strange but true, make of that what you will.

So that's how you mean it Moni. I hear music playing in my head almost always, sometimes it's songs I've heard but often it's not. I play piano, sometimes I just sit down and play something. As soon as I've played it it's gone, I can never play the same thing twice. I occasionally write down very haunting melodies I come up with but not often. I even really composed a few things, but they weren't very good .
