Yeah, I've got a dedicated card for my RAID 5 array...runs about three times faster than my Operating System (C:\) drive, though that's a ATA 133 IDE drive...
On the subject of cases, mine's a $25 "We're getting rid of this case to make room for new inventory" special, but I like it...it's got a lot of space, even if three of my hard drives are a little too close together.
