My wife dislikes any kind of facial hair on me, but I point out that she should be grateful I have any hair on my head whatsoever. Genetically I'm screwed over in that department, since both grandfathers were cueballs for a good long time before they died.

The ultimate combover: using your beard for a toupee! Yeah, and if I ever become that vain, I'll have to leap to my death. When the time comes, I'm buying myself can of TurtleWax and shining my dome.

I think women with long hair are pretty but women with short hair are sexy.

I've gone from normal (short back, sides) to skinhead, to long (with a pony tail - don't ask), to dreadlocks (cool - for a while), to skinhead and then back to normal. That was all in the space of five years. Now i realise it's pointless. My mother's father is bald...

In women, i'm not fussed so long as it's not too dirty or messy. Or if she's trying to pull off a ridiculous style that just doesn't work.

*Edit: Bumma! 1338 posts. Is that one too many to be cool?!...

LOL! In my family, hair is definitely rented, not owned. My maternal grandfather died with a monk's fringe (two inches around the side, all the way around). Most of my uncles on both sides are getting creative now. My only hope is my paternal grandfather, who at 85 is just starting to show thinning hair...

My dad and his dad, on the other hand, went completely white at about 25, but have kept every hair. Don't want either to happen really. I have no-ponytail-can-still-get-your-fingers-through-it length hair that's doing *so* well in the poll Suspiciously similar coulour to this forum too... Don't want to loose it, even if it is unpopular.

Oh yeah...I'll be bald by 35 looking around the old gene pool. In the meanwhile, I just cut off 3 inches and it's still past the shoulder, and gf's and random other womenfolk have liked it and/or are jealous of it I like long hair on women too, unless they've got goofy-bang syndrome. Short hair can look just plain cool though.

My least favorite popular hairstyle is the crewcut. I mean, unless you're going into battle, give hair a try lol.

Bleh... not a fan at all of short hair on women...

Got long hair myself... Not growing fast enough... after two years it's only a couple of inches past my shoulders...
