Well done Sir G, good luck in your new job!

I've only got just under three weeks left of my paper round. Getting up at 6:45 each morning, doing a paper round then going to school is hard work, especially when you loose the power to sleep in past 9am on Sundays (my day off).

Although it's better to do a paper round and have a bit of cash instead of not having enough cash to do everything you want.

movie theater? Bah! It's called a cinema!

Better than most first jobs though! First job I ever had was as a paper boy when I was 13! Was crap! Ok for the time I suppose...
Bleh. I'm 15 and I'm STILL delivering newspapers! :'( Though reading this thread reminded me to look for a job!

I think I'll break the trend and take clothes over games, since I have so few of the former and so many of the latter

Heh.. I used to deliver flyers until I was about 14, but they paid me so terribly that I don't count it as a 'real' job.

That's the best bit. I remember last Christmas I was on holiday from the 9th to the 23rd (tipping season) so I sent every house I delivered to a card telling them I was going on holiday. Talk about a subtle hint

"Merry Christmas

I am going on holiday from the 9th till the 23rd of December"

Heh... not sure. I have a job orienteering on tuesday, they'll just show me around, what I'll do I guess. I'm assuming I'll learn what my first day of actual work is then.

Doesn't matter dude, only kidding. Hope you like the job, what kind of theater is it, all sorts of movies, or just the x-rated ones you were aiming for ? If that's the case...do not volunteer to "stick" around for cleaning duty after closing time, just go home.

Well being Alberta Canada I am not even to sure that we have those king of Movie theaters. I think we have those peep show things. But you need to be 18 to work there like you would.
