If you want a top notch PC though, and dont want to put it together go with Falcon NW. They beat Alienware 2 years in a row in the gaming rig competition.

I've been running a Falcon NW system for 5 years now and the only problem I had was with the CD-rom (it just died). Their rigs are top notch. [img]smile.gif[/img] However, in all fairness, they ARE very pricey. Now that my system is in serious need of upgrading, I am seriously torn over whether to buy the replacement from them or not as I can likely get a similiar system (albeit not exactly the same) from Alienware or elsewhere for 1000$ cheaper!

Just my opinion...

AW make great looking machines.

But, it is far better to either build your own....I'd even go as far to say I'd rather buy off Dell than Alienware, as you can tell them exactly what parts you want in it.

Same again for laptops, but just my two pence.

Yep, if you know how, build yer own. I gutted my Alienware and upgraded with stuff I bought on newegg. got a 3.2Ghz intel Northwood chip oc'ed to 3.71Ghz. If you go intel and oc, go Northwood--the Prescott--presHOT's run HOT. lower micron..

I heard that alienware computers are the fastest gaming computers so far and that they have the hotest mother board yet. for any of u who want to by one I've heard and seen that they are around 2,000 to3,000 $
