All these bands are soft core compared to...
Post Human, by The Shizit... In fact, any Shizit song would work. My personal fav is Econobeing. State your number - State your function There is only one purpose - For which you exist "Can you ever be rich enough?" - We are at the mercy of the sheep And when there is no air to breathe - We'll coat our lungs with dollar bills This rhythm can beat down oppression! This is the sound of empowerment! I scream for the future! What will be my function today? RESISTANCE! I fight for a dream And I dream of a f***ing fight Cut that sh** I won't consent - To the social control And I won't consent - To the rape of the soil So no longer look at me - As a cog in the machine In a world with no choices - I've chosen to be free |

I agree about the Crazy Frog. I hate the Crazy Frog, Tweety the singing bird, the dragon, I just hate them all. Jamster are so evil! :@ Why would anyone want their mobile to do THAT when they get a call? [ 05-31-2005, 08:23 AM: Message edited by: Ivelliis ]

I agree with Gnarf - Meshuggah is good to wake up to, especially 'I' - goes for 20 minutes. That's about how long it takes me to gain consciousness after being asleep. And I also agree with Hivetyrant - If I could strangle the life out of the creators of Jamster, Yippi (or Jippi or whatever the hell it is) and that stupid one with the crappily animated dog. ERRRRRRRRGGHHH....
But to say what songs do it for me, to get me really pumped... Probably: 'My Last Serenade' - Killswitch Engage, 'Territory' - Sepultura 'March of the Pigs' - Nine Inch Nails 'Progenies of the Great Apocalypse' - Dimmu Borgir 'Pig Latin' - Fantomas 'Pet' - A Perfect Circle 'God Hates A Coward' - Tomahawk 'Aenima' - Tool 'Blind' - KoRn 'The Power of I and I' - Shadows Fall 'Killing In The Name' - Rage Against The Machine Ahhh.. that'll do nicely. There are more but I forget them now. I'll put 'em in later. P.S ladyzekke: That CD you bought, (self titled), was RATM's first (and I say best). Look around for others like 'Evil Empire' and 'The Battle of Los Angeles'. They also released a cover CD, 'Renegades' it has some good stuff, but it isn't what you'd expect for RATM's last album. After that, Zach de la Rocha (vocals) went AWOL as far as I can tell, and Timmy Commerford (drums) Brad Wilk (bass) nad Tom Morello (guitar) joined up with that dude from Soungarden to make Audioslave. I'm not a fan, except for 'cochise', because it's kinda funky for the verses, then rocky for the chorus. Soundgarden were good, 'nothing to say' was their best, RATM were 'the mad notes' but when put together you get a bunch of bland sounding rock tunes. Unfortunate really.
