Rest in Peace Animal. Pain you will never feel anymore since you are in a higher place.

Sad to see one of us go. I never to have personally known him, but I do know he is good man.

Wellard:
If IW can make a small website to Animal with dedication (similar to a guest book) and email the daughter. its an idea.

Rest in peace, mate. You touched everyone's life here in some way, be it large or small, with your kindness and generosity. But at least in Undermountain those who you brought pleasure to and who brought pleasure to you will have something to remember you by. You were a part of our community for such a long time.

It was a shock when I first heard, and the confirmation of his passing certainly doesn't get any easier to take.

I return from extended leave to find horrible news. I'm so sorry for Animal, and for his daughter. Rest Peacefully, Animal.

Animal's straight-forward atitude and sense of humor will be missed. That is my most impressionable memory of him, only knowing his aquantience casually as a fellow forum dweller.

Peace.

I did not know Animal well. Now that he is gone I can't stop asking myself whether I should have known him better. He shall be missed by many it seems, yet he shall never be forgotten, be it for the statue Ziroc wants to do of him in Undermountain, or all of the moving posts in this thread. This thread is by far the saddest and most moving I have seen since since the time I am a member here. May you rest in peace Animal.

Rest in peace Animal. You wanted the two of us to get together sometime and get drunk, i guess that'll have to be in the afterlife now.

Whoa - as I usually stick to CE, I wasn't even aware of his condition. This is most surprising and saddening news.
We may have bumped heads in the past from time to time, but he always had well-considered arguments and a healthy dose of humor to back up his claims, and for that I respect him.
May he rest in peace, his presence here will be sorely missed.

At the time of the original thread I was busy, so I never really took the time to read it all, or to think about what was actually going on. Now I am sad I never said anything. We have frequently bumped into each other among the threads, exchanged a few posts, and my impression of him was always very positive. Together with all of us that posted here, I will also miss him. So here is to the great man we've known as Animal!

I didn't know him personally, but he was always a prominent member of the forums. I only read and heard good things of him, and I saw the help and advice he gave members here. He was obviously a good man.

You'll be missed.
