Whacky, I'm already downloaded the IEEP but the dialog box said: RunTime Error '7': Out of memory.
I already dismissed all my progs till only Systray and Explorer but still it appears. My RAM is 128MB I think that goes well but...

..Any suggestion?
...I reinstalled my VB6 package. Do i need to reinstall my VB300?

I honestly can't see any way to justify Protection From Evil when the item is equipped. Such a vile item might have Protection From Good but not from evil. I think that at any rate the demon summoning should be another drawback.. the demon is quite pissed that a mortal would disturb it by using an item far beyond their comprehension and proceeds to tear them apart.

Here's an idea the demon is under dire charm for 1d4 turns when summoned and instantly goes for the user of the weapon when the charm loses effect.

A lot can happen in 1d4 rounds firestorm, a lot, especially if you're in the thick of a battle, 20 hits sounds like 24 seconds to me and poof another demon and im pleased that atleast a few guys do understand that it'd be hilarious to put protection from evil into it, better yet it should make the wearer immune to "protection from evil".
P.S. LennonCook 0.25% equals 0.0025, doesnt it ?
P.P.S i still havent got what i needed, icons for a pitchfork

Yes, 0.25% = 0.0025 chances of any two consecutive hits summoning the demon
As for an icon, how about the one for the Wand of Fear/Summoning ?? It looks alot like a devil`s fork

Alright, my bad... I guess I misunderstood the statement. I'm not sure what i was thinking. But I did open the old Algebra book, and yeah, everyone else is right... dang those percentages. But has anyone considered this? Ok, as a general rule (with just a couple of exceptions), an Arch Devil's weapon is only taken from him when a higher power overthrows him, or the Arch Devil is defeated somehow. If he is overthrown, the higher power will usually refuse to keep the weapon, seeing it as a sign of inferiority. So, theoretically, the demon summoned would be part of the Arch Devil's personal army, and they would see the weilder as their new master. So why would the Demons attack their new master, as their old master is no longer around to command them?

Because a demon can tell the difference between a devil and a human

Well, ok, good point. But could the demoms attack the wielder of this weapon? Supposing the Arch Devil was defeated in battle, wouldn't the demons (the Baatezu at least) be terrified of someone who could destroy their master? Correct me if I'm wrong, as I don't know much about the politics of the 9 Hells. For all I know, possession of Demon Armies may revert ack to Asmodeus if the current leader is no longer around. And, I believe that on an earlier post, there was something mentioned about 'the demon inside'? Well, would that demon not become one with the wielder, thus making him a demon himself, and protected from the demons summoned? And, if I'm not mistaken (and I have been quite a few times this week), regular demons would have no desire to hold a weapon of their master, as they would become targets of all other who were stronger and looking for power. Maybe I'm just being pushy and stubborn, and if I am, I'm sorry, but I really don't see how demons would attack the wielder of a demon weapon, unless it was straight stolen from a demon lord who was still around to give orders.

Demonic minions can actually be fiercely loyal to their masters. If a demon thought you had killed its master, I'd say he'd have a morale failure:berzerk.
