Of course, anything is. But, we've got MC down all thru Rags in like 3.5 hrs or under. So, even though I'm pretty much done with MC myself, I'm still happy to go and gear up others. Plus, raiding a "farm" instance is a riot on vent, hilarity always ensues. Last night we did it and at one point we got a lava pack plus and lava surger and fire lord, plus a core hound in the middle of it all. This once would have wiped us in like no time, but it was like banish, banish, banish, tank, tank, spank, good going, fun crazy pull, good work all.

And, even once it's on farm there's still profit to be had. Last week's run I picked up the Spell Power enchant, this week's I picked up the TOEP -- nothign I *needed* but nice fun nonetheless.

but my group is taking more of a focus on AQ20, and the fights are much more interesting.
As with ZG, the fight in AQ20 are far more technical and interesting. I'm basically done with this one too, all my books collected, got the first Staff of the Ruins drop, got some leet enchants that only 5 or so people on my server have -- I bet you'd love that +15 Agi to Gloves.

Plus, AQ20 is gonna represent more what level 70 raiding will look like. While the 40-man size of MC, BWL, Naxx, and AQ40 will not be changed, no end-game dungeons will be higher than a 25-man raid at level 70. Karazhan, that awesome huge new end-game instance (17-minute video of it empty is HERE ) will be 10-man limited, and will reset every 4 days. So, "raiding" will look more like an extended UBRS run -- and you don't need to assemble 40 people to do it.

Ayamiss the Hunter, where a ranged attacker with high DPS (ie. ME ) had to tank it by nuking the crap outa her while she flies.
You too? Same here. Ayamiss's loot table sucks, but we wanted to do her just to say we did her. I had the highest warlock NR (cenarion rep + tailoring ftw) -- so I got to Searing Pain the crap outta her and tank. Rawr. /flex

BWL too, the first fight destroying eggs/keeping the hoards of enemies at bay = FUN.

..Unfortunatly, our first BWL attempt went tits up 'cause I didn't know I had to dismiss my pet (I was supposed to be orb controller...oops) but fun none the less.
Good luck controlling the orb, it's fun (from what I hear). Razorgore has tried the patience of many guilds, and broken some. It's a kite fight, and you just gotta get it down to that. It took us our third serious night of attempts on him (over the course of 5 weeks, due to absences, summer, etc.) and probably our 13th or 15th attempt to down him. Then we went ahead and 2-shotted Vael.

This weekend we taught ourselves the suppression room and took down Brood Lord. I gots some new shiney Nemesis Boots for my efforts.

Anywho, looks like our progression is about parallel -- gratz on the good times.

I think if you're starting to find raiding boring, you have to aim for new heights. The problem is, you can't get to those new heights without getting the gear for it.
Exactly. While you keep doing those already-beating parts for a while to gear up decently, there's always the next fight to learn. Kangaxx is a fun fight -- he's hard to learn, there are multiple strategies, and it's fun to save right before the fight so you can come back and do it again for fun.

Video games are supposed to be fun, I try to only play those that I find fun. I don't get mad if I like a game too much, and if parts of a game seem too repetitive to me, then I can simply take a break.

[edit] Here's a video of Razorgore for you Ivellis, complete with good music:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...56&q=razorgore

Note there are several strategies for Razorgore -- here the tanks tank dragonkin. Some use hunters. We have druids sleep and warlocks fear them. Tailor your method to your group. When Razorgore pops, down a Greater Fire Protection Potion because he's gonna conflag the raid until the tanks get aggro and turn him.

Here's an instructional video on the fight we're currently working on. 2 attempts so far, got him to 12%:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...=firemaw&hl=en

And here's a video for Ossirian. It doesn't contain instruction, but it's got A-Team music, which makes it awesome.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...Worm+Fod&hl=en
If you guys actually need pointers on downing this guy lemme know. It's one of the more fun fights in the game, very dynamic and mobile.

We had that in MC. Stood at Domo, the Warrior CL is explaining the tactics (we don't use Vent/Teamspeak, so it's all done in channels) to the warriors. He says something about pulling, and one of the newish warriors pulls them all *grin* Amazing we got through it.

I've got all my books, and since I'm a set-item man, I don't need anything else. I would love if one of our enchanters got +15agi on gloves though *grin* (to go with my new Giantstalker gloves too...+2% hit ROCKS).

Well I didn't have good NR gear, and the debuff is annoying, but I had by far the highest DPS so I just aimed/multishot the shit out of her, feigned, a mage got aggro then somehow I pulled it back to tank a bit more.

Karazhan looks kick-ass! I saw a screenie of the "opera house" floor, which spawns a random boss, and it looks amazing.

Well, not one to blow my own trumpet but out of the hunters we have on our roster, I'm one of the most experienced. I buggered up on the orb, yeah, but I made up for it by kiting four dragons at once. Survived a long time until Razorgore got free too.

Or tactics are:
Warriors get the orc warriors, kite them about.
Orc mages are killed fast by rogues.
When dragons spawn, first one is feared, second is feared, third is kited. This happens each in every corner (so all 12 dragons (max that can be spawned) are under control, so to speak)
Orb controller hurries the hell up *grin*

Well we did Raggy with 33 this weekend, which was pretty cool, a bit close though. I don't know if it's just on my server (which is a roleplaying one, of all servers) but most of the hunters who apply are a bit..er...idiots.
I mean, those who can't talk in full sentences? Also one applied, wasn't even attuned to MC, never mind Ony? *sighs*

One hint: WoW is only addicting to those lacking self-control.

Hrm...

Anyone here willing to show a WoW noob the ropes in-game? I have a 14 day free-trial I'm going to activate this weeked (courtesy of my Warcraft 3 purchase a while ago). Plans to buy before or soon after that, depending on money matters.

Don't give a crap wether Alliance or Horde either.

(To be honest, I just want someone to play with for a couple hours until I feel comfortable with the game, get some info on locations that are good and places to avoid, etc.)

I amn't on too much lately as things are busy around here. But part of learning the game is grouping and picking it up as you go. I advise an RP server at first as people are generally nicer. Just let teammates know you are new and few will fault you for it. Let us know how you fare!

Well, started up multiple characters so I don't get bored and so I can learn to use the different classes before settling into favorites. Didn't play much on any of them but for what I did (hey, setup took longer than I thought. Installing took a good 30 minutes, and then I had to make the account and patch the damn thing), but I currently have on the Kirin Tor RP server a 5th level Dwarf Hunter (guns. I wanted a gunner), a 3rd level Gnome mage, a 3rd level Tauren Warrior, a 3rd level NElf hunter (had to), and a 4th level Human Bubble Boy, I mean, Paladin

I'll probably make a 'Lock, a Priest, Shammy and Druid in the future to try those out.

I have a level 6 Tauren Huntard on Kirin Tor I could log onto sometime. A few of us have Kirin Tor toons because we tried an IWF thing there that failed horribly.

I have a level 20-ish Human Mage on Nathrezem.

My guild resides on Dalaran primarily, where most of my characters are. Horde guild. We have an alt Alliance guild on Elune, and my character there is a lowbie.

If you want to log on any of these servers and do a little questing, just post it. PM me. Whatever.

On Dalaran, with a Horde toon, I can at least dump a bunch of bags and some cash on you to get you started. I have characters of most level ranges up to 30 on Dalaran, too.

Happy Hunting.
