They surely are. One thing that you can do to get over the non-armour thing is Dual with a theif. In ToB you can use any item. A Kensai/theif with ac of -21 (Big Mettle Unit) And Dual swinging CF and Crom Feyer WITH THE KAI ABILITY YOU WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE!!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Er... anyway... back to the origional topic, I also think we need more Elves... even though they are total panzys and would sooner cast "natures magic" then pick up a damn sword (mutter, mutter)... ah... ill go now.......To

AHA! I have it, we need a half-orc! A half-orc barbarian!

I've not got an E-Mail although I got the PM (I don't know what happened? did you send it to Zombiechicken2001@Yahoo.co.uk ?)

P.S about your PM, A lawful good Barbarian? is there a reason for his alignment (Im not dissin your work, it's just I've always thought of barbarian's as being the chaotic types)

how about an elven kensai? you dont get ANY elves as npc's, and the kensai is one of the best characters in the game. MASSIVE damage, and easy to hit an opponent. with all the rings, and other items, plus his bonus to ac, and single weapon style, you can get their ac quite low indeed. not as low as others, but this lets you give the items to OTHER characters. kensai's are AWESOME!!!
thanks for the suggestion but Im trying to steer away from character's the game has in abundance like fighters and try and fill in some of the more lacking area's.

Although I wouldn't mind doing a kensai in the future (well if this one goes as planned anyway )

Right anyway I will post my idea's tomorrow. Then you can judge and critise it and I can modify it, to try and incorporate some of your ideas's (or start over if no one likes it lol )

Thanks for your help you guys

Daniel

You should make a monk mod, cos with that the dialogue options are endless! Like:

Jan: As my uncle Scratchy always said, a butterfly in hand is worth a salamander in a pickle jar any day!

Monk: Ah, but verily, the green cat of honour flies north to the mountains!

Jan: Of course, uncle Scratchy did get a bit funny near the end of his days...

Monk: Is it not written that st. Tribidd did drain the unholy swamp, for "it's filth did pollute the air and sea"?

Jan: Ah...

But that's just my deranged mind working

Sorry, my bad--I accidentally sent it to yahoo.coM.uk. Resending now....

And the Barbarian's alignment is because I wanted to make characters OTHER than the ones that everybody makes. Most gamers will make a CG or CE Half-Orc Barbarian with 19/18/19/8/8/3. My Barbarian (named Grint) is still a Half-Orc and still relatively stupid, but those are the only ways in which he follows the stereotype. I'm bucking conventions with mine: Instead of the ubiquitous Kensai->Mage, my Kensai is a Gnome, and an Evil Gnome at that. The new Halfling isn't a Thief, he's a Cleric. etc.

Daniel, let me know if you like the 3 NPCs I sent, and then I'll finally wise up and send you the Thieves instead.

I got a mod suggestion myself, however I could only suggest it and not actually ask you to do it because you may not actually want to do it...

I've been thinking over the last few days I've had a lot of E-Mails offering help and advice on this little project I've undertaken. Mainly from people who would like to make there own mods but for some reason or other are unable to do it either due to lack of time, resources, knowledge or other factors.

I was wondering if anybody would be interested in making a little group mod where we all chip in and help with the progress? I mean you don't have to have lots of spare time or a super computer you don't even have to know how to edit games, any contribution no matter how small would be fine, be it a few storyline ideas or a couple of items, every little helps. Between the skills of everyone Im sure we could pull somthing half decent out. Well tell me what you think and if you would be interested, if not no biggie
