Of... course... *cough* Yes, of course that's the reason - Internet is really only about appearances, don't you think?

Anyway, I just thought it was a weird comment to make on a forum with SO many female gamers. I mean, just think of how many female members we have here... as I said we're in the minority, but not as badly as to merit being called rare.
well if you say rare, it amkes that person feel special. *i'm special!*
and as for the hobbies of the girls in my area, is being a slut a hobby? it seems to be the favorite passtime around here. luckily i've managed to meet one of the only non-slutty girls around here .
Unfortunately sounds like the typical situation in any English city (can't comment on other countries as I don't live there).
On topic, my ex liked comp. games too but not as much as me. That was because she grew up with 3 older brothers though

Overhere, I never see any females play computer games, I see them play console games or arcade games or pachinko. If a female do sit in front of a computer, you can be sure that she is chatting.

You make me sound like a read dumbass now...
I just wanted to know what u thought of it, none of my girl friends are gamers I just feel a little bit outa the picture
It's good that it's so many girls here feel a little more like home here
I promise that I will never end my gaming because somebody thinks it's 'geeky' (is that a word) I mean I love it it's a part of my life and I would never quit just because someone though it was 'geeky' (there it is again)
I just hope I find some guy that won't think it's 'geeky' (ok I gotta stop soon)

Women don't seem to be attracted by competetive games as much as men. Women also tend to be more susceptable to peer pressure. Anything smacking of "nerdiness", drives them away like the plague! My fiance' won't do anything that she thinks might be construed as "different". Label clothes, sporty car, trendy behavior, etc. Sometimes my "They can kiss my a** if they don't like it!" attitude drives her crazy!

Some more so than others . I used to play a lot of games online, but I was scared off by the reactions. "I don't wanna go out wiv u or nefin, but r u fit?" . Either that or "Girls suck at XXX game. Get lost, you're crap." (But with much more swearing and stalking behavoiur; ie, they'd follow me from game to game and kill me to show how "weak" girls are. Nevermind the fact that they were lvl 82 and I was lvl 10). Pitiful, no?
