I just went to the WESTS v EASTS match at Campbelltown today and saw a much more skilled and free flowing game of *new improved rugby* and what a great result

Though I guess city slickers will not want to talk about that to much

Always glad to oblige Mems!

Wait until we learn how to play the game properly,I understand we took some stick in the Australian press after the AB game.

Remember: If at first you don't succeed TRY! TRY! AND TRY! again.

Some observations about the game:

1st TRY! 14 phases and 31 pairs of hands.
2nd TRY! Flick, flick, flickety flick! Now you see it now you don't.
40 metre rolling maul. Thought the aussie pack was going to be pushed all the way to Wellington.
3rd TRY! Have you taken root there Mr Latham?
Mat Rogers may I introduce you to Josh Lewsey. THWUNK!!!! G'day Josh - what planet am I on again?

Aaaah - yer a wimp Memsie .

That Donut is a very TRYing character - he is attempting to take the piss but I am in such a good mood today that it is just sailoring over my head. I have no problem with the Brittish boyz being favourites for the world cup - that just means that their eventual failure will be all the more painful. Mind you - if it came down to a choice between the poms and the kiwis - hmmm - I woudl have to think on that some more
