Anyway they just wanted to have a national anthem and so they started a competition. If this one was the best though, I hate to think of what the failed atttempts would have sounded like! >_<

I'm not sure if the rest of the world knows this but up to the 1960's Britain sent many of our criminals (or 'crims' as they are known in Australia - notice how the can't manage the full word) to Australia as a punishment. This will give you some idea about how bad it is there. They are all descended from CRIMS!!!!! This has left them with a massive inferiority complex which I think is undeserved because I once met a decent one.

Many of them find the need to return to their roots though and can be found sleeping nine to a room and drinking themselves senseless in Earls Court (or Kangaroo Valley as it's known to the locals).
