What did you just call me? That supposed to be funny?
Guess not everybody has the same sense of humour

"ROFL! Good one Arvon"

"LOL LOL"

"That was funny"

Sounds to me you don't actually miss out that much if you don't know exactly which joke a certain reply is referring to.
Besides, I thought the idea was that you wanted to post jokes, not read one-line relies to jokes. If you put all of your jokes into one thread, we don't have to make "LOL LOL" posts in the several joke threads usually found on the first page, and wouldn't THAT save server space as well??
So hey, how about a happy middle - you start a joke thread every week and put all jokes in there that you were going to post anyway that week. It sure would be less cluttered.
Interesingly there is an answer to this...More than not some of the jokes have been bombs. ( I know..you say noooo). I do try to avoid the types that don't get good response. It's not ego...no matter what you may think.

Tell us who complained, Arvon - I know some people in the Russian mafia.

Well, maybe you should stop making assumptions about what I think or don't think. All I'm trying to do is come up with a solution and so far people seem to like mine. So what do you think, you didn't say?

No offense, but a lot of your threads do not get a great deal of responses (and contrary to what YOU may think, I'm not saying that's because people hate your jokes - I think it's just that there's only so much you can say about one, and that's why a lot of people enjoy reading them but don't respond) so I don't see what the big deal is about how all the replies will be managed if you'd put a few jokes together in one thread. It's not so hard to say "I liked the one with the dog"...
I don't really have an opinion about you either way, I am just trying to help think of a solution. And I merely thought it would be a less cluttery, neater solution for you to post several jokes in one thread, instead of starting a whole new topic for every joke you find.
