First off... LoA I have not been to any boot camp. But you are correct, it is considered a rifle, or you could call it a weapon, but seeing on how thourough you are it is not to be called a gun. (at least not in your pressence.)
And for those of you who implied that you wanted it.... the elongated discription: The DSR-1 rifle is designed and manufactured by German company AMP Technical Services as a specialised police sniper rifle. This rifle was evolved from now discontinued ERMA SR-100 sniper rifle. It is adopted by german GSG-9 counter-terror group, as well as by some other elite European groups and agencies. The DSR-1 is configured into bull-pup design, with free-floating barrel. The folding bipod is mounted onto upper rails (above the barrel), and the ajustable horisontal front grip is mounted on the lower rails (under the barrel). The rifle features fully ajustable buttsock and cheekpiece. The holder for spare magazine is installed in the front of the triggerguard to decrease reloading time. DSR-1 action features match-grade, fluted barrel that is quickly interchangeable and is fixed into receiver by three screws. The bolt features six lugs that locks directly into the barrel. The barrel is protected by ventilated aluminium handguard and is fitted with muzzle brake (wery useful when firing full-power magnum loads). The trigger is two-stage, ajustable. DSR-1 features manual, ambidextrous three position safety, located above the triggerguard. The expected accuracy of the DSR-1 is almost extreme: some sources state sub-.2 MOA accuracy (0.20 inch / 5 mm groups measured center-to-center at 100 yards) with correct ammunition ad environment conditions. Two more pictures: A picture of it in a nice little case. A close up of it's action. The DSR is a sniper rifle, and I would think that you would have to change the barrels to use the different ammo. But the caliber I listed was all the ammo that could be used, one way or another.

You know, M61A1 20MM chainguns can be delegated to anti armor roles? Well, they easily pack enough murderous firepower to make a human into Red sauce... I definitely want one, for the day I go postal... Or, for the day some burglar comes and tries to steal from me... That would be enough for the news shows "Man completely obliterated in burglary attempt!"

I don't think you can get away with bigger than .50 BMG, without HUGE permit fees, and I'm saying an M82AL in .50 BMG caliber. Now, an m61A1 isn't legally ownable by civilians, but if it were, the .80 caliber ammo, the gun itself, plus the paper work and the fees, would make it easier to go to canada and buy a grenade launcher...
