LOL,

First-Person Shooters can be fun. I usually don't feel like going out and shooting people afterwards either, for me they have the opposite effect.

You didn't like Rumey's review of The Hours?

Sad that's how he makes his money; critizing his own country.
So you are saying the man has no principles and that he does what he does to chase the almighty dollar. That's odd, because I thought most of his stances were based on principles that he would prefer that a few more people would embrace. Just seems to me to be an inappropriate and simplistic assumption to want to categorise him as nothing but a US basher.
Good point there Davros, now for the kicker, or kick in the crotch if you will Could not that same point be made about President Bush being a warmonger? Instead of the war for oil and his chasing after money for his big oil friends? (Not that you've made that point but for them that have and are standing up for MM)

Bah, there are so many easier ways to make money for a film maker...like making documentaries on platypus (works very well)...why did he choose to bash his own country...
That doesn't fit Sir Taliesin, that just doesn't fit at all.
Yes it does fit MM got his BIG BREAK critizing an American auto company, Chrysler if my memory serves me right. The merits of that film are not being questioned, it's just that 41 years experience have taught me that people tend to stick with what they know works. He's just moved from critizing one large orgaization to critizing another large organization, and made money doing it.

I think Michael Moore has iron balls to stand up and speak his mind as he did! It may not have been the place according to some but where is the right place to stand up for principles of peace and humanity!? And I don't believe that that many americans believe we needed to start this damn war when we did. There was no immediate need for the destruction that has taken place to Iraq and its people .Lets just pray for a quick end to this war.

Micheal Moore is a bleepity-bleep jack..., um... jerk. I think that his comments were very much in poor taste. But then again, I wasn't surprised to hear that he made an even bigger *** of himself. Not surprised at all. Sigh.

I never saw any of Michael's films as I was never really interested in the stuff he makes, but I just think it was just plain wrong for him to make those remarks at the Oscars.

I support his right to say whatever he wants, but using the Oscars to say something about war was just inappropriate.

The Oscars should be a neutral place and be kept apolitical.

After hearing that little speech, I think I'll avoid watching his films.

In the US maybe, but if you look world-widely...
