Partial Birth Abortion... OMG, I just found out what this is

Lucerne it may be an older term...then again it used to be called murder when it was illegal to have any abortion....the age of the term bears no relation to the clearness and accuracy of the term...D&X is a term to make the act more palatable to people so as not to get them upset about it...which in my book makes it at best an obfuscation even if it is clinicly correct. [img]smile.gif[/img] Course Im just a pain in the butt father of two who used to be "Pro-Choice" till I saw my children being born and changed my mind.

lol it's fair enough Magik - I respect your cultural values. My point was that the term Partial Birth Abortion makes it less palatable than the others - though it's the only term that most people know. The age wasn't my point, only the 'which came first'. So it was Murder, D&X, THEN PBA [img]smile.gif[/img]

I prefer "Intrauterine Cranial Decompression" as it gets right to the end of the matter. Not much obfuscation there as long as you know the words.
