I hope you're not talking about Florida. When every repuitable (sp?) major news orginization that went down and recounted the votes came to the same conculsion President Bush WON Florida. This was done by an industry where the VAST majority beleive/long to be/ deep heart felt desire/ reason for their professional exsistance is to be the next Woodward & Berstein (sp?) taking down the big old bad guys for the common man! And they couldn't find a damn thing!

I'm a 37 year old registered Independant who will be voting for Bush this November. I know some of you are shocked.

I will also be voting in my state's Democratic Primary. As an Independant in NC, I can choose which party's primary to vote in each year. Since I'm in the heart of Democratic country, I usually choose the Democratic Primary unless a national election requires my Republican input. For the Democratic Primary, I'm thinking Sharpton... I don't understand why some of think Bush going to get relected to the White House. His ratings have talken a big dip. I think Kerry has the most support because he looks the likeliest to beat George W. Bush.

My vote doesn't count because I'm not an American. I would vote for anyone other than Bush. That lier doesn't deserve another term.

Which liar does?

Besides, polls can be deceiving, just ask Dr. Dean. He went from front runner to bag packer in three weeks(24 hours actually did it but he continued/s to hold on despite the fact that he's dividing the party he supposed wants to control the White House).

Something did not compute in my mind, and it seemed to me that some of the judges were not exactly impartial. And I'm not just saying that because a few were appointed by Daddy Bush... Give me a few days.. I need to look for my information.

Just for a refresher course (re: Illumina who wasn't around at the time), the Supreme Courts fairly-reasonable ruling against Florida was, when boiled down, "we may not know what kind of review IS appropriate, but yours is NOT it, and you should STOP."

I was a Gore supporter, tried and true. But, the problem with that election was a simple one: the margin of error on the voting was greater than the margin of victory. It was a tough decision all around, and I do hope this time around we have improved our election proceedures nationwide. It was simply an unfortunate circumstance to be in for the nation that tries to be the "police" at elections world-wide.
