LOL.. I just had to!
What type of oil? Olive oil, perhaps? The wrestlers of Ancient Greece rubbed plenty of it on themselves, mind you. And I'm sure they must have looked real awesome -- or awful, depending on your taste.

I wouldn't rub any oil on myself, though. At least not until I'm as well-built as Roger Applewhite.

Mind you, the ancient Greek philosopher Plato is widely considered to be one of the greatest thinkers of the Western world -- and he was a wrestler, too! In fact he meant to join the Olympics!

Oh, yes, BTW... he was gay, too.

*Sigh* With wrestling conversations, there's always the ignorant people that have to bash it. Personally, I love professional wrestling, I watch WWE(get the F out!) Raw and Smackdown! all the time. These guys are amazing atheletes, good actors, and all around great entertainers. Of course it's not straight on fighting, because they don't want to really kill the other guy, that would be kind of lame. But most of the action is real, these guys really get hurt, and injury is a very present risk for them. Sure, it's all predetermined, but YOU don't know who is going to win, just like in some movie, it's all made up, but you don't know the ending, that's why you watch it, and you want the hero to save the beautiful princess, just like you want the Rock to lay the smacketh down on some loser's candy ass! Before bashing pro-wrestling, I think everyone should read Mick Foley's books Have A Nice Day and Foley Is Good. They are written by him, no ghost writers, just his experiences of wrestling since he was in high-school. And that's the bottom line, cause Kryn Cold said so, if you detect the aroma of my culinary efforts.

"Ignorant" ?? Because people have different views on something than you, doesn't make them ignorant. The people who bash anything are merely stating their views on the subject- they dont like it.
You may like it, others won't necesarily have the same opinions on it- disagreement is natural.

I used to be a hard core wrestling fanatic... Up until 3 years ago. I watched religiously... Till it became 4 night a week addiction...

Then it became way to soap operish, and I had to bail and quit watching with the exception of ECW... Stopped finally when they went under...

Every once in awhile, I will catch a match while channel surfing... I really don't miss it at all...

I have fond memories of watching Paul Bosch and Houston Wrestling years ago with my father... Those were the days... Coming home blasted and crashing on the floor chatting with pops...

It is a money making entertainment machine that connects with a lot of people... God Bless America...
