Just installed Temple of Elemental Evil again and played for a view minutes last night. I immediatly thought the music was great. It just sets the mood.

Wizardry 8 is another good one.

Hivetyrant if you're talking about the first Final Fantasy, I can't say I agree, but I played it so much it got stuck in my head!

Battle Realms, without a doubt.

Edit: I also like the various Prince of Persia soundtracks. They were fun.

I liked Baldurs Gate 1 best (BG2, IWD1 and IWD2 were great too)
of the old games I liked... Jagged Alliance.

EDIT: and Warcraft 2.
