I just got Gothic 2 gold! About to install here.. Is it as awesome as everyone says? I know the graphics are not state of the art, but I dont care. Hell, I still play goldbox games! (Replaying Pools of Darkness) and MAN its hard as I remember.

Yes its about the best game ive played since um.... wizardry 8 lets say.

I got the gold edition a while ago but i havent played it too much I have it installed though. I kind of want to forward to the expansion area part of it but it makes you play through the regular game first which is fine but ive already played it.

Keep in mind that it is very difficult, get used to dying and reloading saves. The controls take a while to get used to.
