"Fine, fine," said Argon, and called it in, then resumed speaking to Sorkuk after he'd finished, "But if this lands us in hot water, you're taking the fall."

(ooc: Very crafty, Kazilian, dodging the naming issue until later.)
After Argon radio'd in the ship's designation, the person on the other side paused. After a brief silence of about ten seconds, while Argon made sure the blame was fully in Sorkuk's lap rather than his own, the operator came back. "Budovan 1, you are clear to land in your reserved spot in docking bay 23. Have a nice stay." The landing was very smooth, as Argon had exellent control of the ship while he lowered it to the ground. From the cockpit's viewport they could see just beyond their landing bay, which was more or less a steel box with an open top. Outside the bay they saw a single row of about five small shops, and probably less than a hundred people. Light filtered down from the high-intensity glow rods in the vaulted ceiling, and just beyond the corridor with people they could see the exit. When they disembarked and tried to leave the bay, they could see that landing was the first challenge of getting out of the spaceport. "Do you have anything to declare?" asked a large, bearded black man with a white shirt and blue trousers on. He did not look to be in the mood for jokes. |

Argon had stashed his explosives under Sorkuk's co-pilot seat while the group prepared to disembark, so that on the off chance that they detonated, he wasn't going to be the one with a pair of peg legs.
Aside from that, he brought all of his equipment, though he left the blast helmet in his duffel bag in order to seem less like he was looking to pick a fight. "I don't have anything besides this," he unholstered his ion pistol and presented it to the customs agent for inspection, "In case of rogue droids." Assuming he didn't get arrested for some arcane procedural violation, he'd head for the exit and wait for the others to join him. |

Barney walks right up to the customs agent and answers "No." He stares down at the man while waiting for him to move aside, daring him to ask more questions.

Sorkuk exited the ship last and paused to address the official.
"Nothing to declare, sir." If he wasn't stopped he would join the others as they entered the settlement. |

The guard checked their documentation, then looked at a console nearby. After making a quick grunting noise he turned back to the trio, and waved them through. "You're all good to go. Have a nice stay." He turned back to the console, and a look came to his eyes, almost as if he were disappointed that they got off unscathed.
As soon as they got past the customs officer, they saw a quartet of men wrapped in orange with shaved heads. It looked at first like they were going to accost the group, but a stern look from Barney made sure that they knew it was a bad idea. Other than them, there weren't too many people in the concourse, as it was a fairly small spaceport. Now that they were closer they could see that the shops were selling literary uploads for datapads, refreshments, and tourist information. Nobody in the spaceport seemed to be looking for them, and the speeder rental shop was closed. However, their datapads had the address of their contact, and according to a map of the city it wasn't too far away from the spaceport. |

Argon checked the map on his datapad and thought for a few seconds, rubbing his chin thoughtfully, "We could just head straight there," he said to Barney and Sorkuk, keeping his voice low, "You never know, though, the Rebels are pricks, but not idiots. They could have some suspicion either that our contact is working for the Empire or that we're not who we seem to be, I say we circle around, get a bit of a feel for the city while we're at it, then come up to the meeting point from the opposite direction. After all, we don't have a set time, just a place."
Informing them was just a formality, though, barring any exceptionally compelling suggestions or threats, he intended to take the roundabout route whether the others did or not. Though if they didn't, he'd make an effort not to be too far behind them when they arrived. While he waited for the others to comment, he'd find a passing local, irrespective of whether they seemed to be busy or just out for a walk, and ask him or her what was up with the freaks in orange, using that wording. |

"I agree that we should try to be discreet, but in this case the trandoshan is right. No matter what he does, he'll be noticed."
Sorkuk scratched the fur on his neck as he considered their options. "We're here on business for the trading company, so lets act like we're on business and head straight for our contact. If the rebels are onto him already, then there's little hope for our mission's success." |

Barney, Sorkuk
The two went straight out the door and followed the address in Sorkuk's datapad. It was fairly easy to reach, since the path was a straight line with one turn to the right. There was no chance of them missing the sign, as the streets were very well-lit, and the street signs had letters about six inches tall. As they turned to follow the second street, the corner of which was apparently a hoverbus stop, they were hit by a stiff breeze, and the two could practically smell the jungle despite it being several miles away. Their destination was in the middle of the row of houses. It was obviously recently built, with perfectly smooth dark green duracrete on the front with a white trim. There was a porch off to the side covered by a sloping roof, and a garage large enough for at least two speeders. Sorkuk noticed that all of the other houses on the block looked the exact same and were also painted with the same scheme. In fact, the only difference was that all the lights were off in their contact's. Not even a glow lamp could be seen from the door. Argon Argon chose a different path than the other two, at least for the moment. The people he asked about the "freaks in the orange" only shrugged, saying that they were part of a travelling religious sect who just showed up one day. They seemed to hang out in the spaceport and had never caused anybody trouble, so security never paid them much mind. Once he was outside, he was struck by how few people there were on the street. According to a clock in the terminal it would apparently translate to two in the morning on Coruscant, so that would make sense. There wasn't much conversation to overhear even as he went down the main boulevard, unless he would count a speeder swerving from the intoxicated driver that had a passenger stick out of it and loudly declare that "Angross City High Rules!" as conversation to gain the local color. At the least, it told him what the city's name was. He had to pull his jacket close for warmth as the speeder breezed by, as the wind created by it caused a slight chill. All of the shops on this row seemed to be either restaurants that they also had on many other worlds or clothing stores. From what he could determine many of the stores catered to women, though there were two obviously selling male apparrel. Both kinds of stores advertised clothing with very high prices. On the street he turned on that would lead him to their contact's house, he did find a few stores which were relevant to his interests. One was a store selling basic electronic components, and the other was a pawn shop. However, all of the shops were closed for the night. Continuing down the street would lead him to their contact's place, where Barney and Sorkuk were waiting. He passed the hoverbus stop sign and all of the identical houses, until he found his destination. In truth, the only reason he found it was because Barney stuck an arm out and stopped him from walking past. It was still pitch black inside. |
