You don't have to be an unstoppable demon to enjoy the thread, this one is basically a stagin ground for the villains to prepare for their attacks against the heroes, just have fun with it, and you can set yourself at nearly any power level, remember a 1st lvl mage with phantasmal force can be more deadly than a dozen orcs (simply cover up a bridge, or make one seem to be where there is nothing but a cliff, and you can easily wipe out a decently skilled group. intelligence can often beat out power, which is one of the key points of assassins.

OOC: returning this to page one, and since the heroes are now in the seven heavens time is working normally for the bad guys, allowing them to continue scheming.

IC: Make them pay, torture them until their bones dissolve, and then kill them painfully and slowly, once that has been done you can reanimate them using your dark and foul magics, while you do that, I will prepare the summoning runes, to bind the spirits of malice and hatred of several Marilith Tanar'ri into the souls of these creatures, and then the knights of the tiny blade will ride again, no one would suspect the few halflings that weren't turned to ghouls of becoming fiends, it may even allow them to get close before shedding the skins of Ghzarbanan's fellows, now that he has joined lot's with Morguerat, Jorlon, the drow bitch and the others they shall all die in horrible ways

The day wore on and sounds of screaming filled the halls of Mohrde Sihthe's castle, later as he dined on unicorn blood and fairy dragon steaks he watched as several druids and priests of goodly deities were slowly impaled on spears, arranged so that they would not fully be pierced for a quarter hour after they had been placed on the spikes, and then they would slide down the poles for another half hour before reaching the bottom, the screams of the dying was an orchestra like few heard anywhere in the planes, few even in the nine hells would have been able to tolerate the utter depravity.

As Mohrde Sihthe the Dark Knight gloated on his success, he recalled what Travpezario the Lich had told him about the failure of the assassin Dermon to destroy the meddlesome adventurers. Not only was the Dark Knight deeply displeased with this -- he was a little worried. What if those adventurers actually received the help of the gods themselves? It would be rash to dismiss such a possibility out of hand.

Then Mohrde Sihthe pondered whether he himself could ask the dark gods for help. There was KALI, the Black Mother-Goddess of Pure Evil, Death and Darkness -- a goddess so terrifyingly evil even the Dark Knight himself shuddered a little at the thought of asking her for help, though it was told that Kali always answered any pleas for help. The problem was that her price was always high, involving no less than sacrificing to her a part of one's own body -- a hand, a foot, an eye, or whatever. Could he do it?...

T'zaletect had been greatly enjoying his time on the prime plane, slaughtering the servants of good where he found them, and stealing the souls of innocents were the things that made a demons life worthwhile, after the last bit of hell he had unleashed (quite literally he had opened a gate to the lower planes and with the help of a lich he had secured it with a permanency spell, making sure that denizens of the abyss would forever be able to find their way here. Even now the landscape for miles about was beginning to appear more and more like that of the 666th level of the Abyss, the layer he called home. The Tanar'ri Lords had been so pleased with him that they had promoted him to Marilith, a painful process, but one that brought several deadly new options to him. As he revelled in his new form he realized he was no longer under the sway of the dark knight, and with that realization he began to plot, no longer would he be subjected to tortures because a single mortal escaped him, nor would he act as a servant in a realm he was instrumental in creating.

As he surveyed the changing landscape, watching as trees and grasses, bushes and any other living thing in the region were transformed, imperceptibly at fist, but nonetheless they were changed, the trees began to bleed, the leaves fell out, and small pods began to grow instead, the pods quickly reached a size approximately a foot in diameter, and the protective leaves peeled back, revealing what appeared to be a human head. the bushes burst into flames at random intervals, the wicked green fires could not be put out, and caused the animals caught in them to become gross caricatures of themselves, song birds became multi-headed vultures, that left a rain of slime in their wake, small animals oozed pus from sores, growing extra limbs and tails, and the people... the luckily few that were caught in the hellish realm flet their bones melt away, their bodies becoming fat and bulbous, eventually growing centipede-like legs that carried the newly formed Larvae.

Oh yes, thought the fiend, Morhde Sithe would surely pay for his arrogance-after I destroy the mortals that is...

Thanx Morgeruat. Thats just what i wanted. One of you can own my guy, or RP him, or he can just go to the abyss and serve as a strategic general, which he originally was.

The Dark Knight felt the waves of energy and knew the time for action was close, one of the last bastions of humanity was still holding back his tides of darkness, a coalition of men, elves, dwarves, gnomes, and many other goodly races were all secruing themselves behind the walls of a single town, The Dark knight was not displeased, the challenge this offered was acceptable, and would make his conquest of the mortal plane that much more satisfying, as the majority of his opposition were held together in one place, already the orc and goblin hordes had fallen, their dark gods had not saved them from the undying might of Morhde Sithe's armies, and they now served him in undeath, better than they would have in life. He sent them forward in a new wave of attacks, thousands of the Orcs charging mindlessly, they fell by the hundreds, but for every 15 orcs that fell, 1 defender also fell, and as the bodies piled higher upon the battle scarred plain they formed a makeshift ramp, letting the monsters get closer to the top of the walls with each wave.
