yah, like sylent said, ranger assassin or even ranger thief is a very cool class to be... isn't it called a scout in 3rd Ed rules?

MMmm A swashbuckler/fighter grand master sword and dagger with 18 INT. That will be My hero Jarlaxle.

Easy, an elven bladesinger. My version would cast spells like a bard, GM the longsword and be able to stealth. Bladesingers are awesome!!!

I would prefer to be a human samurai, but applying this to BG2 I like the human Kensai with grand mastery in Katanas, and single wielding.
