Once I encounted a furry beastie called a "Jugganaut" lvl 11 on the Arnika-Trynton road. Another time I ran into an insect known as a Swarming Wasp. And I think in one of my previous parties I even managed to spot some kind of red plant, Crimson Poppy I think it was called. LOL. (No, I'm not being serious)

The first time I played I ran intq the mother of all bats ("giant bat") in Trynton. Actually it was just hovering around minding it's own business until we got too close. Haven't seen it since.

If you leave the monastery at a low level (2-3), you'll fight little wimpy redweeds and spore plants.

Yes, I remember seeing a flesh ripper with 6 Piercer Modais.

That Giant Bat appears now and again just off the Tree, i've managed to kill it a couple times, but it almost never lets itself in for combat.
