I mentioned the nature thingy and it would be quite cool I think.
Race which is too weak: dwarves.
Race which is missing: a type of race which would be very strong on high levels, but would level much more slowly than other races.

dplax - how bout a race that gets a different number of bonus points to normal races (4 per level up to level 5, 5 per level to level 10, 6 per level up to level 15, 7 per level to level 20, 8 per level thereafter)? maybe like a trang - slow maturing, starts as a dung beetle, only later gets the carapace (natural damage resistance...hmmm)

Hey sultan that is a rather interesting idea. Maybe something like the contrary could be done: strong in the beginning, but then later gets less and less bonus points, up to a certain minimum.

Edit: typo

Welcome to the boards Jeffrey Edwards!

As concerning your idea, what would make dark elves playable as opposed to normal elves? If you only have them weaker in one realm. Maybe they should be stronger in something else?

something i really enjoyed from arcanum was "special backgrounds", which had all kinds of options like "raised in the pits" and "debutante". it could add penalties and/or bonuses to any of stats, skills, attributes, and that's outside natural race/class modifiers. the result was even further customization.
