on a semi related note, i've read that some of the dialog options are tied to the rest till healed option, is this true, and if so do i want it on or not?

Ok, general question for all you lovers out there, how do I get the romance for Jaheira going?

I did the harper quest and rescued her from the stronghold, and all that stuff and she has talked to me a couple of times, but then she just quit talking to me. and she hasnt talked to me in a while now.

Does charisma play into this at all. Cause I am a rather (non) charismatic Dwarf with a whopping charisma of 8

the charisma doesn't affect it, but the fact that you're a dwarf does, the game only allows romances with elves, 1/2 elves, and humans (balderdash has a patch that allows any race to have a romance, or several romances simultaneously)

Oh . . . DOH!!!

man thats twice now that I have been spanked in the long run with this character, first of all I didnt min/max him in the first game so I actually have less hp's then I would if I would have started a new character.

OH well, I still wouldnt give up good ol' Duncan Redhammer for any other character.

Wait though, I have a romance with Jaheira and my character is a Halfing. What's up with that?

Note, I did change my character's race, but after I did that, I imported him to a new game because the old game I had messed up. Therefore, I had to restart the romance.
