Kellin, I totally agree wit hyou. To kill someone for having a different tenet is an evil act itself. In RPG games I ran, Detect Evil only worked if, at that time, the target had evil INTENT (about to kill someone or steal something) and, to be perfectly honest, killing someone in broad daylight because you sensed they were evil would get you locked up!

If you have a female leader, there is no problem with Aerie and Jaheira. In fact, Aerie shows mild symptoms of fancying Jaheira, which down-to-earth Jaheira squashes firmly, lol!

To which point, you say to Aerie "Can I watch?" (hee). Aerie and Jaheira, although they argued, never came to blows with me. You just pick one and the other shuts up for the remainder of the game. At least the female PCs don't have this issue (although Anomen is a complete putz)

Ye gods, yes, isn't he!? The game creators must have thought there were so few female gamers they could get away with Anomen! Or maybe they think he is the sort of person women go for - all face and no substance?
Don't get me wrong, I LIKE good looks (who doesn't?) but if I was my female lead I'd sooner have a romance with Mad Minsc than Awful Anomen, lol!

The romance thing put me in a bad spot, 'cause all my chars except the Bard are female...D'oh! I never noticed any problems with Minsc and Edwin, or Jaheira and Aerie, and never got the Aerie Edwin thing....I think something is wrong with my game with th NC dialogue things...=P

I had Korgan and Aerie in my game from chapter 3, and they never fought. Edwin picked on everyone, but no one in my party tried to kill another. My party consisted of Korgan, Aerie, Viconia, Edwin, Imoen and myself, a berserker.

Keep in mind these events are randomly time trigger, they "may" or "may not" happen in your game. If they have not fought, they you are considerably lucky.

Korgan insults Nalia for being rich and she responds politely. Later if you give the child slave money to get back home, They go at it again and Korgan tells her what he could do for her sexually. Then you can choose who to side with either tell Korgan what he said was funny or to shut up.
