Voila, in alphabetical order, don't know which one I like the best:
Arena ( a huge world to explore, wonderful music) Daggerfall (the same, but I never finished, story-line was a bit...strange) Lands of Lore (I don' know why i love this game, but it is so) Might and Magic VIII (I loved that dragon in my party... ![]() Nemesis (wonderful music again, and I like the dragon Ystalin) Stonekeep (oh, I love that dragon Vermatrix Goldenhide, music is also done very well) Ultima Underworld I + II (a nearly flawless juwel, esp. the first part) Wizards & Warriors (long live Erathsmedor, what a wonderful dragon) Wizardry 8 (if I ever get it...should arrive in a couple of days)

Phantasy Star 2 for the Sega Genesis is my all time favorite.
Dragon Warrior on the NES was one of my first RPG's and next fav. Legacy of the Ancients for the Commodore 64 was great. Might and Magic 4 and 5 for the PC. Ultima 3 for the Commodore 64. And now Wizards and Warriors joins the list. Can't wait to start Wizardry 8. |

I would have to say, the very first one that I played.
Nethack the one that's played in DOS and uses every single character on the key board to represent something in the game. Quite Marvelos. Then, now a days, I'd have to say, EVERQUEST!
