I gave this new tactic a shot and holy crap if it didn't work...The things that you learn in the forum...a question did arise out of this feat however...My main character...the oft referred to Puppo Baggins...is at the XP cap...After I hemmed in Drizzt I was left with myself and Monteron in the party...when the dark elf died and my party recieved 12,000 xp...Did my xp maxed character get his share of the 12000 or did it all go to Monteron because I am full?

Split 50/50, whether or not one or more character is at the cap has no effect.

it goes into a hidden registar in the memory basically so you have

160,000 visible on your char profile which means you cannot level further, but what you cant see is another value the true value of your exp which still increments so if you ever do remove the exp cap all the exp you gained is still there so remove the exp cap and you might suddenly be looking at a new level

So what you are saying is that since I imported this character from his original party...game got corrupted by the repeating movie bug at the end...and he hit the xp cap long before the bug hit...the game is still traking the xp I earn in case I add an xp cap to the game??? so once installed I will get my previous xp added instead of starting fresh at 160,000?

Aside from the novelty of it I am firmly against the xp cap remover...after all there is nothing in BGI that a charachter with 160,000xp should have trouble with....barring the elusive Fighter/Mage/Cleric...and what is the point of adding all of that xp just to get it removed upon transfering to BGII

the part about being remembered in BGII si incorrect, partly anyway, u only get "remembered" if you say u killed him, he asks u, so you can say you did it, even though you didnt, that's all from me, l8er

havent played bg2 yet but uh? how can he ask if you killed him, dead people arent normally so inquisitive and what idiot would say, oh yes i slew you, your obviously powerful enough to be reincarnated so im telling you that to your face and obviously your unlikely to hurt me,...arent u? no put the sword down, eek run away!

oh and baggins of course you dont need more than 160,000 but its fun seeing what u can do, so long as u completed the game a few times already and know everything there is to know
