Lol, understood. I have tried many variations in defeating dragons including hours of toiling with melee combat. Aside from that I thought this thread was to help someone out to quickly defeat a dragon, not to show how cool you are to defeat em with the most difficult tactic ever.

I've never used those tactics on golems or skeletons before, wonder why...

i killed my first dragon with traps, but straight after felt guilty about how easy it was, so i re-loaded and killed him with brute force.
