Jan, Nalia or Imoen(spoilers)

Lord, the Djinn gives you either Belm or Rashards Talon (I forget which) which are scimitars with identical inventory pictures. Ras is for sale, i think its the long sword that'll fight on its own, like a Mordenkainen's Sword.

I love the trademeet shops and always do the quest as early as possible. As for finances, they will be a problem if you have bonus merchants...

Oh the origional question, Jan is the best thief but wont be able to cast level 9 spells 'till well into ToB (the curse of the multi class). Imoen is a better choice both roleplaying and powergaming (tho jan is funny, hey take both)

Yes, you just ressurected a thread that is nearly 2 months old .

But yes, Ras is the sword that fights on its own for 4 rounds. I gave it to Jan, allowing the sword to fight while he fires off spells and bolts at the same time.
