not really on hold. my first Viconia romance ended (the last LoveTalk occured in the underdark that is) in the Underdark.
the romance was in progress throughout chapter 4 and 5. . .. . . . . . . . . Vicoina got attacked right after we past the Asylum test and being teleported outside.
