Do you let party memebers die? - Page 3

Ok, ok. I have to (and want to) apologize for the question. I guess I was just angry when I wrote it. Some minutes before I had got my PC killed by this damned Hive Mother (Core Rules, 1st run) after so much caution and successful surviving. Oh, I lost and revived lots of party members before that, but I just began to think that my PC would make it through the whole tactics game without being killed. Bad mistake...

Regarding the "insane-level", as far as I know the physical damage done by the monsters will be increased. Is that true for any spells casted by the monsters as well or will the game use the "standard" values for let's say a skull trap spell?

Returned some days ago from our annual holidays in the Bohinj area. You live in a beautiful country and this "dragonbridge" in your hometown (sorry but its correct name eludes me). Just great.

Separate but related (I asked about this earlier in the week, but I'm not sure this was answered difinitively, although I got some good pointers): does anyone know for sure whether letting a character die and resurrecting her/him will screw up the romance? I thought I'd read that in a couple places in the forum, but I may have misunderstood. It sounds like Jaheira is particularly sensitive, but I know her romance is fraught with bugginess anyway.

The any damage done to your will be increased twofold, including, IIRC, your own Skull Traps, should they detonate on yourself.
