First class you ever played? - Page 3

My first character in BG1 was a ranger, IIRC. But I never finished the game with him because my videocard wasn't compatible with my motherboard back then and the game(s) crashed like every fifteen minutes. I just recently played BG1 through first time, as a fighter.

In BG2 my first character was a Cavalier. Eventually I took him all the way through ToB. Man.. Cavaliers just rock!

first BG1 start was a halfling thief
first (and only) BG1 finish was an elven solo F/M/T
first party BG1 finish will be a druid with SoA in mind

first SOA start was an archer like a few have said - attractive class description i guess - i still quite fancy all the ranger kits in SoA actually

I played as an elf in BG1 and exported my player to BG2 so that I have the same one (Legolas, an elf fighter/archer).

First time through BG2 was a human Barbarian named Conan (don't laugh). I didn't really understand the AD&D rules at first, so his stats were completely lame and unbalanced!

The barbarian continues to be one of my favourite classes to this day.

Cavalier. With Valygar's portrait, no less! Ah, the joys of being a newbie. Now, I would consider a Cavalier with Long Swords and Shields a challenge game.

Never actually finished that game.

first bg2 character was the paladin i finished bg1 with and converted to cavalier.
