A demi-lich cant withstand lvl 10 ... Dragon's Breath = insta-kill
Weirdly enough, comet didnt always work for me
Newayz, Dragon's Breath goes right through Magic Resistance, right through any immunities a demi-lich has and basically just kills him outright [img]smile.gif[/img]

Trap the soul is lvl 9 AFAIK .. so shield of the Archons will protect -once-.

Trap the Soul is the DemiLiches special ability. Its like an Imprionment, but he shoots it out as a projectile. No saving throw, magic resistance cant help. VERY deadly skill.

Will PfU wear off once you strike him? Why im asking is because i have a 4 person party, Me (mage/cleric), Kinley (fighter/thief), Korgan, and Sola. Me and Sola can cast PI:Abjuration and be ok, but korgan and Kinley are dead. i want to make korgan and kinley able to attack without being vunerable to his attacks. so would PfU keep them invisible even when they attack?

P.S. - Any +5 or better axes or hammers for korgan?

PfU wont wear off ..
Shield of the Archons protects the caster from spells,.. this affects a spell level of half the caster's level. Spells are capped at lvl 20 ( no damage or any other progress after that ) .. so the max. amount of spell-levels SotA will protect against is 10.
This would protect you against 2 Trap the souls ( even with only 1 spell-lvl left, it absorbs it )

Just leave Kinley out of the fight three characters attacking kangaxx should be enough to kill him before your protection from his imprisionment runs out or alternatively you could have him use a protection from undead scroll if you really want him to fight(it will work). It takes +4 weapons to hit Kangaxx so there is two war hammers in SOA that work(no axes) obviously the excellent Crom Fayer a +5 weapon and the +1+4 hammer vs giantkin found in D'arnise keep. Hope this helps.

Ya, i was about to say i went up against him and korgan used that hammer and it worked, so i was about to post taht on here. the only problem with fightin the demi-lich is that you can only fit so many people there to fight. I think ill have Kinley use her +5 sling of everad ( She is a girl i saw someone call her a boy. honest mistake) with a PfU scroll, Korgan beserk with hammer vs. giantkin, sola in greater whirlwind with daystar and PfU.. and me with SI:Abjuration and MMMs. Think it will work? [img]tongue.gif[/img]

You shouldn't have too many problems with this setup Xero. One thing though I'm not sure daystar works on Kangaxx, although I could be wrong. Confirmation anyone?

Should do: Me I tend to send 1 character up protected from magic, hasted and using MOD +2. Everyone else stays out of the way. Have to say that this is getting boring it's so easy
