Off topic, but what is "span style"? How is it different from "fontcolor=..."?

I think just saying something like "I agree fully with Annatar" would've been enough Xen Quoting an entire post without adding anything is pretty unnecessary and takes up a whole lot of space.

A lot of common mods that have been enligthed to us, but what about the un-common ones; like the Forgotten Wars, Ascension, Epic Endeavours, TDD, Desecration of Souls, Revised Hell Trials, ect..... aren't people here that played those mods? Because I'm would love to know how those modifications are and if they are worth looking at in the near future.
Well... I'm an avid TDD player. Ironically, I just uninstalled it for like... the 9th time this year. My low-low end PC is not very MOD-Friendly. Anyway, TDD: - Has some very cool new classes & kits (from Drow Warrior to 'Smurfnevlin'(sp)) - Nice new quests - Great new areas - A lot of new spells and items. - Cool new NPCs Unfortunatelly, it also: - Has a lot of bugs - Is pretty straightforward (in a lot of conversations you're not given a real choice to play your char's alignment) - Some quests were made 'difficult' by the simple procedure of adding TONS and TONS -and I mean TONS!- of monsters. - The bunch of new cleric & mages' spells is a very nice addon, but it also poses a serious problem: Due to an engine limitation, your priest/wizard books only displays a certain number of scribed spells. There's no way to 'scroll down'. So, if you're playing a Ranger/Cleric, for instance, you'll find that you can't access "Zone of Sweet Air" because the No. of spells is too high. So, if you want to play TDD and enjoy your game, you better start by dloading & learning ShadowKeeper, IEEP, WinBiff, and the rest of the gang! Just my thoughts, tho... |

Rapida, are you asking what the link is about or the Revised Hell Trials and the NPC Goo?
Because the link is no mod, its an overall view of several known modifications. [ 04-16-2003, 09:55 AM: Message edited by: Annatar ]

The Revised Hell Trials changes the the hell-paths you take in the Abyss, it gives you the oppertunity to chose a neutral path... in the plain version you could only chose for good and evil.
This mod changes this. NPC Gozaloth (Goo) is a disembodied floating eyeball (something similiar to a Eye Tyrant) that can become a party-NPC. Both of those mods are downloadable from WeiDU's Place

I've taken quite a liking to Revised Hell Trials. It's one of the more "professional" mods out there, and fits in very well with the rest of the game.
